Okay, so if youāve been following along you know Iām on a journey back to health and wholeness with my hair. That means, Iāve been embracing wearing my own hair. Yes, even in this postpartum season⦠this hair has been out!
But donāt be fooled. Ā Iāve been tempted several times to go back to crochet braids, and even my boho braids. Ā The algorithm was set up to find me and take me out š. And while Iāve been standing strong and havenāt added any crochet braids or other extensions to my *own hair*⦠I found a way to still enjoy a bit of the ease and versatility that comes with using extensions.
In my latest YouTube video, I share how I created a āKnotless Braided Bunā, and I absolutely love it! I was able to create a different look while still holding true to my hair goals!
Even had a guy in the comments calling me beautiful or whatever š šš.
This is def a super fun & easy Ā twist on āprotectiveā styling. And did I mention the featured hair is black owned and NON-Toxic?!? Yaaassss! I can totally see this being one of my go-to summer style, especially while Iām still deep in this newborn season of my life as a mom of 3.
So check it out, and let me know⦠would you rock this?
This is not a sponsored post. I used my own money to purchase 1 bundle of braiding hair in color āshadowā. And I will definitely purchase again. The hair was easy to manage, and you could feel the difference from the traditional brands. I can tell me and my Ā silk scrunchies are going to be doing great things this summer. Stay tuned for more!
One more thingā¦
I just have to give a shoutout to the supporting actress of this video⦠that orange top.š! I canāt tell you how much I love this top. It carried me through multiple pregnancies and into my postpartum era effortlessly. Check out how Iāve styled this blouse here!
