The Easiest Braided Style for the Summer 😍

Okay, so if you’ve been following along you know I’m on a journey back to health and wholeness with my hair. That means, I’ve been embracing wearing my own hair. Yes, even in this postpartum season… this hair has been out!

But don’t be fooled.  I’ve been tempted several times to go back to crochet braids, and even my boho braids.  The algorithm was set up to find me and take me out 😂. And while I’ve been standing strong and haven’t added any crochet braids or other extensions to my *own hair*… I found a way to still enjoy a bit of the ease and versatility that comes with using extensions.

In my latest YouTube video, I share how I created a “Knotless Braided Bun”, and I absolutely love it! I was able to create a different look while still holding true to my hair goals!

Even had a guy in the comments calling me beautiful or whatever 😅😜😉.

This is def a super fun & easy  twist on “protective” styling. And did I mention the featured hair is black owned and NON-Toxic?!? Yaaassss! I can totally see this being one of my go-to summer style, especially while I’m still deep in this newborn season of my life as a mom of 3.

So check it out, and let me know… would you rock this?

This is not a sponsored post. I used my own money to purchase 1 bundle of braiding hair in color “shadow”. And I will definitely purchase again. The hair was easy to manage, and you could feel the difference from the traditional brands. I can tell me and my  silk scrunchies are going to be doing great things this summer. Stay tuned for more!

One more thing…

I just have to give a shoutout to the supporting actress of this video… that orange top.😍! I can’t tell you how much I love this top. It carried me through multiple pregnancies and into my postpartum era effortlessly. Check out how I’ve styled this blouse here!

xx
